ACP 10 Injection

Acepromazine maleate 13.5 mg/mL  equivalent to Acepromazine 10 mg/mL

Anaesthetic premedication, tranquilliser and travel sickness suppressant.

HORSES: 

Give 0.25 to 0.5 mL/50 kg bodyweight by IM or slow IV injection.

Administer 1 – 3 minutes prior to the desired effect and await clinical signs of tranquilisation before travel or subsequent administration of anaesthetic. For tranquilisation adjust dosage to maintain desired effect for the duration of travel or procedure.

CAMELS*:

• Give by slow IV injection
• 0.1 mg/kg (0.5 mL/50 kg bodyweight)1
